I live in Cambridge, MA with my husband and two daughters. When not working on solving the pressing education issues of our time, I like to spend my free time:

• visiting loved ones in Buffalo, Pasadena, Dallas, Helena, South Bend, Brooklyn, White Plains, and rural Mississippi

• rooting for the Buffalo Bills, Boston Celtics, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and my favorite WTA athletes 

• adding to my years-long streak of completing the daily New York Times crossword

• watching movies that are under 2 hours long
